I'm not normally into chains, but this Perkins was great. I had an open-faced hot turkey sandwich with the trimmings, DH had a chicken & biscuits breakfast menu item. Mine had good moist turkey and flavorful sides, maybe a little too much toast, but all good. DH liked his, and his tastes run toward the fried, biscuits, cheese, and gravy. I tried his and it was all that without feeling like your mouth was coated with grease afterward. Oh, but if you're a maple syrup snob like me, they don't have the real stuff. If you're not into maple-flavored syrup, avoid their pancakes. The service is friendly, and doesn't try to upsell every chance they get. I call this good home cookin' comfort food.
